Welcome to Foster Swansea the City and County of Swansea's Fostering Website.

Fostering is about 'making a difference' to children's lives.

We are an experienced local authority fostering team providing high quality family placements for children and young people whose families are unable to care for them. Children come into foster care at different ages and in many different circumstances. Most of them are frightened, confused and anxious about what is happening in their lives. Foster Swansea places these children with carers who offer them safety within a stable and nurturing family environment from which they can face their futures positively.
